Hello girls :)

We've seen that there is some discussion about differences in translation. "Lubi?" do not means "love". "Lubi?" always means "like". "Kocha?" always means "love". And "uwielbia?" is a mix between love and like, and the best word is "adore". Harry has never said to Severus that he loves him in those 34 chapters. Harry always use the word "lubi?" - he said that he likes Severus. Here you can see the english version that is checked by us:

But I like your alcohol..." Harry protested. "I like your chair... I also like your potions... I like your robes... I like your moaning... and I also like you, Severus."

"I don't like anyone, Potter. No one likes me either, so to whom and about what would I speak? Besides, I believe that it is not only the first-years that are idiots in this school."
"I like you," said Harry quickly. "So, you can talk to me about anything," he smiled.

The very first time the word "kocha?" - "love" has been used in the scene with Luna, when she said to Harry that he loves Severus. And that's why Harry was suprised. If you ever see the word "lubi?" it always will be meanning "like" and nothing more.

Hope it helps you all to understand it. Polish is very difficult language and we're really impressed that Marian Eliot, VikVik and SolaDeOne can handle the translation. And how quick the translation is proceed.

And do not bother yourself about haters and negatives. We get throught this many times in those four years of writing DI. If DI were more populare the more hate we received from people. You're doing the fantastic job and we adore you, girls! ^_^

Kissing and hugs to all of you here in Russia!
Ariel & Gobuss
